It does the job but it would be better if you manufactured these in “sections” rather than on a roll. Only reason is, once you unroll it it doesn’t lay flat. Just set your line up to cut the lengths shorter. It may be cheaper to ship too.

Deployed to deter possums from jumping on to a tree, by winding the matting around the lower branches. This works well until the possum pack have a committee meeting and try another way. I then redecorate the tree with the matting and it then takes 2-3 days for them to find another way. Seems to be just the one possum; fewer leaves being eaten so that is a win.

Does an amazing job, we had a cat who kept sleeping on top of our stereo amplifier, and after she accidentally blew it up by drooling in it, we decided to use this matting on top of the replacement to keep her off of it.
It’s been months now and she won’t even try to get on top. This stuff works well!
It has a couple minor issues with curves because of how it’s packed but if you anchor it down (we just used duct tape on the edges) it will eventually relax into the right shape.
Adding a little heat to the product with a hair dryer or a heat gun set very low may speed this process if you need it flat urgently and can’t anchor it.
The added benefit is that it is also easy to shape, scissors can cut the plastic to fit the space you’re covering, so you can use exactly as much as you need, without having to deal with excess.
I highly recommend this product as a way of safely and humanely deterring cats from spaces, I just wish there was a low profile type!
