Bird Netting

Quick Fact:

• Do Birds get caught in bird netting?

Unfortunately, when not installed properly, it would allow birds to enter protected areas and then trap them inside. It is also possible for smaller birds to get tangled up in the mesh itself.  Choosing correct bird netting and properly installing would eliminate this problem.  

• Is Black or White bird netting better?

Black netting is less visible than white netting.  Black netting also tends to blend better with the environment.  

• Will bird netting keep possums out?

Possums cannot climb on a bird netting, so it can deter them.  However, it is easy for them to break.
