Yates Mavrik Concentrate
Yates Mavrik Concentrate can make up to 30 litres of spray and comes with an easy-to-use measuring bottle. It can be used to control a wide range of garden pests including aphids, leaf-eating caterpillars, two-spotted mites, apple dimpling bugs and plague thrips. 7.5g/l Tau-fluvalinate
Direction for use:
How to prepare:
- Shake bottle well.
- Measure out the required amount of Yates Mavrik and mix in water.
How to use:
Cole crops inc. cabbage, cauliflower, Brussels sprouts, broccoli
Pest: Caterpillars (Helicoverpa spp.; native budworm, corn earworm), cabbage moth, cabbage white butterfly
Rate: 10 to 13ml per litre of water
How to apply: Commence spraying at the first sign of infestation. Use the low rate for small infestations or if caterpillars are small.
Tomatoes
Pest: Caterpillars (Helicoverpa spp.; tomato grub, corn earworm), green peach aphid
Rate:10 – 13ml per litre of water
How to apply: Repeat applications every 7 – 10 days depending on pest infestation.
Roses, shrubs and other ornamentals
Pest: Caterpillars (Helicoverpa spp.; native budworm, corn earworm), two-spotted mite, aphids
Rate:10 – 13ml per litre of water
How to apply: Thorough coverage is essential. Add a wetting agent for hard to wet foliage.
Apples (not NT or Tas.)
Pest: Apple dimpling bug, plague thrips
Rate:6.5ml per litre of water
How to apply: Apply 1 only spray during early blossom from pink stage to 20% blossom.
Cherries, nectarines, peaches, plums, table grapes (not NT or Tas.)
Pest: Plague thrips
Rate:6.5ml per litre of water
How to apply: Apply just prior to or at the start of flowering when the thrips infestation is significant. Second application during the flowering period may be required 10 – 14 days later depending on thrips numbers. This second application must not be applied outside of the blossom period.
Precautions:
- DO NOT apply if rain is expected within 24 hours.
- DO NOT apply when soil is dry and plants are suffering from moisture stress.
