XJ Timber Preservative

XJ Timber Preservative – is an all-purpose preservative for all types of outdoor timber requiring a clear finish. Reseals cut-ends of LOSP and Blue Pine Framing.

The XJ Timber permeates the wood, protecting it from the elements that are fungi, insects, water, sunshine, and fungal degradation.

Features:

Protects from fungal decay, borers and termites.
Contains a fungicide (zinc naphthenate) and insecticide (permethrin) for broad spectrum protection. The addition of Pemetrhrin provides protection to timber from borers and termites. It been selected for its effectiveness in protecting timber and its low toxicity to humans.
Reseals cut ends of LOSP treated timber.
Ideal to use on window frames, external doors, gates, fences, handrails, and outdoor furniture.
For surface treatments, the required absorption of XJ is 0.25 litres per square metre (1 litre per 4 square metres) application may be sufficient in most cases.
