Selleys Liquid Nails Landscape 415g
Selleys Liquid Nails Landscape 415g is a premium grade and high strength construction adhesive that can provide a weather-resistant, flexible and shockproof bond. This is why it is suitable for many landscaping projects.
How to use:
- Ensure the surface is sound, dry and free from oil, grease and lose powdery material (if necessary, use mineral turps to clean the surface and allow it to dry).
- Cut cartridge tip, fit nozzle and cut nozzle to a suitable size opening (approximately 5mm) then insert into caulking gun.
- We recommend Selleys Light Speed Caulking Gun.
- Using the caulking gun, apply ‘dobs’ or ‘beads; of adhesive of appropriate thickness to ensure sufficient contact and spread between both surfaces. (To minimise ‘squeeze out’ apply at least 12mm in from edges).
- Immediately bring surfaces together before product skins (within 5 minutes) and apply sufficient pressure to spread adhesive between both surfaces.
- Do not wipe excess ‘squeeze out’. Wait until the product cures and remove by trimming with a sharp blade, but avoid cutting into the bond.
- Leave undisturbed until adhesive cures sufficiently. Do not allow traffic on stairs or use walls for at least 24 hours.
Limitations:
- Not for soft or crumbly materials.
- Not recommended for permanent water immersion applications.
- Can not be painted over.
- Liquid Nails Landscape cannot be used as a contact adhesive.
- New concrete etc will not adhere to cured adhesive.
- Do not use as the sole bonding agent for structural bonding.
- Not for permanent water immersion.
- Not for use on polyethylene, polypropylene or Teflon.
