How to use:
Contact Bonding
- Make sure all surfaces are clean and dry. If you’re going to cut laminate sheets, go a little bigger. Remove the top of the tube and the foil seal with care.
- Apply to both surfaces and equally distribute to ensure that they are completely covered. Separate the surfaces until the adhesive is practically dry (it transforms from white to clear) – about 20 minutes, but no more than 40 minutes.
- Position items carefully, still keeping surfaces apart with dowels. When edges are perfectly aligned, remove dowels, and working from one edge, press surfaces firmly together. Grabs immediately on contact.
- Secure the bond by rolling it across the bonded surfaces or hammering it with a cushioned block from the centre outwards. After 24 hours, the bond strength reaches its maximum. It may be necessary to clamp warped or curved surfaces.
- Note that in cold and damp weather, drying time may be increased.
Wet Bonding – Small areas or porous surfaces
- Ensure surfaces are clean and dry.
- Apply to one surface, then bring surfaces together and clamp until dry.
