How to grow
Sow these seeds from Autumn through to Spring so that they do not flower during the colder periods of the year.
Prep a flat trench 15cm wide and 5cm deep. Make sure that the soil has been well-prepared with compost and/or organic materials. Plant seeds into dark and damp soil in a zigzag pattern along the middle of the trench allowing 5cm between seeds. Fill the trench with soil and press down gently. The soil needs to have good drainage for this variety.
Rows need to be spaced 45cm apart and about 2m long. Seedlings should emerge in 7-10 days. Protect the seedlings from birds with netting during early stages of growth. Use sticks or twigs to support the crop. It will also make picking them easier and improve yield. Keep the plants well watered once they have germinated.
Harvest them within 10-12 weeks after sowing.
