Citronella Oil – Essential Oil 15ml

100% Pure Citronella Java Essential Oil or commonly knowe as Citronella Oil.

Citronella Java Essential Oil is regarded as being of a higher quality than common citronella oils. Distilled from C. winterianus, it has the characteristically fresh, lemony scent of citronella, but is darker in colour.

We associate citronella oil with its insect repelling capabilities, the main reason for this is because it masks other scents that are attractive to bugs, making it difficult to locate their targets. Obtained from the leaves and stems of lemongrass, citronella has been registered as a plant-based insect repellent in the U.S. since 1948. Whereas most essential oils repel insects with their scent, citronella assists with making humans almost invisible to waiting mosquitoes.
