A great source of antioxidants, potassium, fibre, vitamin E, A and C, Grosse Lisse Tomatoes are loved by gardeners around the world. That is because they are fine quality tomatoes with great flavour on a sturdy plant. Grow this flavourful tomato and reap a great harvest with the DT Brown Tomato Grosse Lisse Seeds. This large tomato grows mid-season and is a great tomato to consume raw. Use them in salads, sandwiches or eat them just off the vine! To be sown early Spring to early Summer or all year round in frost-free areas.

How to grow

Sow the seeds 5mm deep in pots or trays of seed raising compost. Transplant them to 10-15cm pots in a sunny spot. Transfer to the final fruiting position when the plant is sturdy enough to handle. Space plants 75cm apart from one another each way. Feed them regularly after the first truss sets. Pinch out the side shoots as they appear. Seeds can also be sown directly in their final growing position, especially a late crop. Harvest them when they are red-ripe, slightly coloured fruit will ripen indoors.
