Selleys Ezi Press Roof & Gutter 100g

Selleys Ezi Press Roof & Gutter 100g is easy to use sealant which does not require a caulking gun to apply. Besides, it provides a superior waterproof seal and excellent UV and weather resistance. It is suitable for roofing, guttering and flashing outside the home.

Best for: Aluminium, Sheet Metal, Copper, Brass, Galvanised Metals, Rigid PVC and most plastics including polystyrene, Terracotta, Concrete, Glazed tiles, BlueScope Steel decorative sheet metals such as Lysaght Zincalume and COLORBOND

Can be used on:

• Metal and tile roofing
• Colorbond roofs and fences
• Guttering and flashings
• Skylights
• Around air conditioning units

Suitable for:

Aluminium, sheet metal, copper, brass, galvanised metals, terracotta, concrete and glazed tiles

How to use:

1. Use in a well-ventilated area. Avoid contact with skin and eyes.
2. Thoroughly clean and dry surface from oil, dirt and grease with mineral turps.
3. Remove tab lock, twist collar clockwise to MAX, remove nozzle cap, press lever to dispense.
4. Smooth with a spatula dipped in soapy water. Clean up before sealant skins (5-10 minutes) with a cloth dampened in mineral turps. Twist collar back to MIN and replace nozzle cap.
5. The sealant will fully cure in 72 hours.

Limitations:

• Not for use on polyethylene, polypropylene or Teflon. Pre-test plastics before use.
• Do not use in below-ground applications.
• The sealant is not paintable. Complete painting 7d prior to applying sealant.

Tips:

• Covers up to 4m, depending on bead size/shape.
• For a neat finish and easy cleanup, tape both sides of the gap before applying the product.
• Work in sections that can be completed before sealant skins. Tooling off and tape removal must be completed before skinning occurs or a rough surface may result so working in sections allows for a better finish.
• When first applying the product, extrude a small amount onto a piece of scrap material to ensure a smooth continuous flow of silicone sealant.
• For a better finish use, a spatula dipped in mineral turps or soapy water to tool off the sealant.
• Keep a pack of Selleys Sugar Soap Wipes handy to wipe up any spills and for cleaning any material off the skin before it cures.
