Vetafarm Triple C 25g
The Vetafarm Triple C 25g antibiotic is able to be added into water or food and is recommended to be used for all types of bird species as a preventative for Psittacosis once per year and can also be effective against E.coli (Enteritis), Mycoplasma (Chronic Respiratory Disease) and Chlamydia (Psittacosis).
We also stock the 100g variety!
This happens to be a broad-spectrum antibiotic that can be used when birds begin to become ill and where a certain diagnosis is not possible. The antibiotic should not be added into other mixtures with water inside and the effectiveness of the spectrum will reduce if there are various calcium supplements within the bird’s diet. Therefore, during treatment, the presence of calcium, shell grit, and cuttlefish bone should be removed in order to allow the antibiotic to fully operate at maximum level.
Once the process of administering the Vitafarm Triple C 25g is completed, you will then need to apply Probiotic to re-establish the gut flora.
Active constituents include 100mg/g Chlortetracycline Hydrochloride.
